Sephora to open at CoolSprings Galleria

Beauty retail chain Sephora plans to open a store at CoolSprings Galleria this spring.

A nearly 4,000-square-foot Sephora store is slated to open May 1 on the mall’s lower level across from Williams-Sonoma near the Macy’s department store, according to a news release.

“We have had many customer requests for Sephora,” general manager David Meadows said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome Sephora to the retailer mix here at CoolSprings Galleria.”

Sephora plans to release specific details about grand opening events closer to the store’s opening.

Founded in 1970, Sephora operates about 1,900 stores in 29 countries, according to the company’s website. In 2006, JCPenney began opening Sephora locations inside its department stores. The Sephora stores inside JCPenney are about 1,500 square feet and located in the center of the department store.

Sephora sells a wide range of beauty products, including skincare, fragrance, body and hair care. The company also sells its own private label.
