You wanna start a gigantic thread on your Facebook page? Just ask where you get the best burger in Nashville. We've culled thousands of social media responses, eaten hundreds of burgers and come up with this Top 5:

5.Rotier's Restaurant, 2413 Elliston Place

A Nashville classic, be sure to get the grilled cheeseburger on French bread. Simple, tasty, and that bread is always fresh and delicious.

4.Gabby's Burgers & Fries, 493 Humphreys St.

Go early or late because that lunch line is long, folks, with good reason. The Gabby is big and juicy and delicious, and it's fun to meet new folks at the long tables inside.

3. Burger Republic, 420 11th Ave. S.

Trendy place, but go anyway! The Angus beef is tasty and tender in all its variations. Splurge and go for the milkshake.

2.The Pharmacy, 731 Mcferrin Ave.

The very best in East Nashville, and most folks say it's the best burger in the city. The Tennessee-raised beef is tremendous, the buns melt in your mouth. Beware — there are large crowds and the staffers who greet you are not always particularly friendly.

1. Husk (lunch only), 37 Rutledge St.

Husk is known for its creative Southern cuisine, but very little can beat that burger at lunch. The beef is a combination chuck roast, flank steak and Benton's bacon. Dang!! So freakin' good.
