"Operator," "Funkdafied," "Treat 'Em Right."

If your head's already nodding just thinking about those old school R&B and hip-hop tunes, there's only one place to be in Nashville over Labor Day weekend.

The Rewind BBQ will bring a slate of '80s and '90s favorites to Riverfront Park on Sept. 5, including Midnight Star, Da Brat, Juvenile, Shirley Murdock, Sunshine Anderson and Chubb Rock.

Headliner Midnight Star is best known for a string of electro-funk hits in the 1980s, including "Operator," "Midas Touch" and "No Parking (On the Dance Floor)."

The festival kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sept. 5. Tickets are $35-$55 and on sale now at www.rewindbbqfest.com. You can also call 615-307-1596 or 615-573-5536 for more information.
