A recently completed project replaced all exterior lighting on AT&T Tower, changing to LED lights. The move allows for the building to be colorfully illuminated to celebrate different occasions. This week, the building is lit up in red, white and blue to welcome the 109th Tennessee General Assembly.

AT&T Tower, otherwise known as the Batman Building, is an Energy Star-rated building, according to spokeswoman Cathy Lewandowski. The LED project is part of the company's goal to achieve a $467 million energy savings target reduction by year-end 2019, she said.
