Middle Tennessee Beatle fans had to wait more than 40 years to see Paul McCartney perform in Nashville for the first time in 2010 — and they won't have to wait nearly as long for his return.

The rock legend will return to Bridgestone Arena on June 25, 2014, as he continues his U.S. "Out There" tour, which finds him hitting towns like Louisville, Ky. and Albany, N.Y. for the first time. He also paid a visit to Middle Tennessee last year to headline the 2013 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

Tickets are $29.50-$254.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Fri., April 25 via Ticketmaster, the Bridgestone Arena box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

At a press conference in January, Bridgestone Arena officials indicated that 2014 would be a year packed with with big-name headliners at the venue, and so far they've delivered with concerts from Billy Joel, Cher, and (tonight) Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Future dates on the books include Katy Perry (June 27), KISS and Def Leppard (July 16) and Justin Timberlake (December 19).
