Goose Island Beer to hold Nashville events

Goose Island Beer Co. will fly South this week for Migration Week in Nashville — and greet fans with tasty events.

On Wednesday, indulge in a shrimp boil at Miel, 343 53rd Ave. N., with the Chicago-based brewery's Sofie, Matilda and Oktoberfest at 6 p.m. The dinner is $30, not including beer.

Meet and drink with the brewer at 4 p.m. Thursday at Craft Brewed, 2502 Franklin Pike.

On Friday, sip Bourbon County Stouts and other brews at 312 Pizza Co., 371 Monroe St., at 6 p.m. and Hop Stop, 2909 Gallatin Pike, at 8 p.m.
