Police find 56 pounds of pot at Madison storage unit

Police found more than 50 pounds of marijuana Wednesday at a storage facility on Gallatin Pike in Madison after receiving information a delivery would be made.

Richard Owens and Lazaro Munoz are charged with felony drug offense after police say they arrived in a white Ford pickup truck and pulled up next to the Devon storage facility and then entered the unit.

Owens and Munoz were arrested at the entrance of the unit, where police found a large black bag containing four bricks of compressed marijuana weighing about 56 pounds just inside.
