The Academy of Country Music will hold its 8th annual "ACM Honors" show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on September 9. While we're still waiting to find out who will host, present and perform at the event, we do know that there will be plenty of talented figures to celebrate.

Artists and songwriters receiving special awards at this year's show include Dean Dillon, Toby Keith, Kris Kristofferson, Ronnie Milsap, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts.

The ACM will also present posthumous honors to "Cowboy" Jack Clement, Buck Owens and Bob Beckham. Shane McAnally will be honored as Songwriter of the Year.

Tickets for "ACM Honors" are $40 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday August 1 at the Ryman box office, www.ryman.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
