Sunny Easter Sunday gives way to chance of rain Tuesday

Forecasters say Sunday's sunny Easter weather won't last all week.

The National Weather Service says Nashville residents should expect a 20 percent chance of rain Monday afternoon with a high around 78 degrees.

Thunderstorms and showers are expected late Monday night. The weather service is calling for a 70 percent chance of precipitation.

A cold front will push through Tuesday which will mean a 50 percent chance of showers/thunderstorms with a high around 74 degrees. Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour. Tuesday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 47 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be clear with highs of 73 and 80 degrees respectively.

Thursday night brings a 40 percent chance of showers.
