Southern Living names Nashville eateries Best in South

Several local restaurants have made it onto Southern Living's 100 Best Restaurants in the South list, with one even cracking the Top 10.

The 404 Kitchen ranked third, with author Jennifer V. Cole recommending The Crudo dish of cobia, pickled strawberries, pea tendrils and Marcona almonds.

"Everything about this industrial-chic 40-seater blends functionality, novelty, and a little 'I'm with the band, but I'm not the rock star' attitude," Cole wrote.

"Much like Nashville these days, it's all familiar — but new."

Cole also included on the list Capitol Grille, The Catbird Seat, City House, Husk (both the Nashville and Charleston, S.C., locations), Lockeland Table, Pinewood Social and Rolf and Daughters.
