Live On the Green 2014 lineup announced

Music City will be sending the summer off with a bang this year — the free weekly outdoor concert series Live On the Green returns August 14 - September 6 with a slate of well-known rock/pop performers.

Modern rock favoritesCage The Elephant, indie-folk act The Head And The Heart and songsmiths City and Colour, Jake Bugg and Ingrid Michaelson are among this year's headliners along with G Love & Special Sauce and Nashville's own The Wild Feathers.

Additional performers include Augustana, Delta Spirit, The Lone Bellow, Wild Cub, The Features, The Weeks, Spanish Gold, Johnnyswim, All Them Witches, Goodbye June, Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes, Sugar & The Hi-Lows and Phin.

"Live On the Green" takes place Thursday nights at Nashville's Public Square Park, and it'll wrap up its 2014 season with a three-night music festival from Thu., September 4 to Sat., September 6.
