Jason Aldean makes sure CMA Fest fans have a good time at LP Field

Nashville

Jason Aldean is at the forefront of the hip-hop inspired movement known as "bro country," though his stuff tends to ring truer than numerous imitators. Aldean opened his CMA set with "My Kinda Party," then went into "Dirt Road Anthem," which featured spoken-word portions that leaned to hip-hop.

"We're gonna make sure we do our best to make sure y'all have a good time," Aldean said, and he was true to his word.

His set included "Take a Little Ride," "She's Country," "When She Says Baby" and a show-closing romp with fellow Georgian Travis Tritt on "Homesick."

Jason Aldean performs at CMA Fest at LP Field Friday June 6, 2014, in Nashville, TN.
