Ex-Vandy player Jeffery Taylor charged with domestic assault

Former Vanderbilt Commodore basketball player Jeffery Taylor was arrested early Thursday morning in East Lansing, Mich., on a charge of domestic assault, according to WCNC-TV in Charlotte.

Taylor, 25, missed most of last season with the Charlotte Hornets with an Achilles tendon injury.

Taylor is charged with one count of domestic assault, assault and malicious destruction of property, and his bond was set at $5,000, according to the station.
