The Titans (2-4) play the Redskins (1-5) at FedExField on Sunday (noon, WTVF-5, 104.5-FM). Here are three key matchups to watch:

Titans WR Justin Hunter vs. Redskins CB David Amerson. Hunter didn't make much of an impact through the first four games, but he recaptured some of his big-play ability in the last two. The former Vol posted a combined six catches against the Browns and Jaguars for 176 yards, an average of nearly 30 yards per reception. One of those catches was a 75-yard touchdown. Amerson has had his share of difficulties, as quarterbacks have posted a 94.1 rating on throws into his coverage area, per Pro Football Focus. He's also coming off a concussion suffered last week against the Cardinals.

Titans S Michael Griffin vs. Redskins WR DeSean Jackson. Jackson and quarterback Kirk Cousins have become quite a deep-threat combination over the past month. During that stretch, Jackson has three touchdown receptions longer than 50 yards – an 81-yarder against the Eagles, a 60-yarder against the Seahawks and a 64-yarder against the Cardinals. Overall, he's averaging over 20 yards per catch on his 23 receptions. Titans cornerbacks will get the first crack at Jackson, but Griffin is usually the last line of defense against deep throws. He also should get a chance or two to intercept Cousins, who has thrown seven picks over the last three games.

Titans DE Jurrell Casey vs. Redskins LT to be determined. Casey is the reigning AFC Defensive player of the Week after posting eight tackles, two sacks and two tackles for loss last week against the Jaguars. His reputation as a disruptive force – both in the passing game and running game – is increasing. Casey may well have the opportunity to wreak more havoc on Sunday, as the Redskins are in a state of flux at left tackle. Starter Trent Williams has been battling a knee injury for a couple of weeks and missed practice time this week. His backup, Tom Compton, has played in 21 games over the past two years, but he's never started.
