Kings of Leon host concert for Food + Wine Fest

Nashville rockers Kings of Leon have an epic musical evening in store for guests at the second annual Music City Food + Wine Festival next week. The festival’s “Harvest Night” will be held Saturday, September 20 at Walk of Fame Park and will feature more than a dozen Nashville-based musical talents from the rock, country, soul and Americana worlds.

That includes the Kings as well as Michael McDonald, Jamey Johnson, Charles Kelley, Hunter Hayes,Phosphorescent,Ashley Monroe, Brendan Benson, Jessie Baylin,Billy Joe Shaver, Bobby Bare Sr., Bobby Bare Jr., Clare Bowen, The McCrary Sisters, Moon Taxi and The Watson Twins. The artists will stick to songs “representative of Music City,” and they’ll be backed by Nashville’s top-notch tribute band The Long Players.

The other attraction at “Harvest Night,” of course, is the opportunity to try dishes from the nationally celebrated chefs appearing at the festival.
