The last thing receiver Nate Washington wanted to do was spend his bye week in the training room, but that's what he's faced with over the next week.

Washington suffered an AC joint sprain while making a diving catch in Sunday's loss to the Texans.

He said he's feeling better, but he'll need to work to get himself ready for the second half of the season.

"Of course it is still a little sore, but continuing to work with the trainers and coaches, I'll be OK,'' Washington said.

Washington landed on his shoulder while making a 43-yard catch in the second half. It was a highlight-reel catch, but Washington said he wouldn't rate it as one of the top five of his career.

Down the stretch, the Titans need to make more sparks on offense to ignite some excitement.

"Us as a collective unit, we have to start believing in the plays we can make,'' Washington said. "Hopefully it continues to snowball and we start to play up to our ability."
