Charlie Daniels announces 40th Volunteer Jam

The Charlie Daniels Band announced plans for its 40th anniversary Volunteer Jam, and it includes Billy Ray Cyrus, Travis Tritt, Lee Roy Parnell, The Kentucky Headhunters, the Outlaws and Montgomery Gentry.

The show is set for Aug. 12 at Bridgestone Arena.

“I hope to see more Nashville Volunteer Jams in the future,” Daniels said in a statement. “I’m very, very excited to continue the Jam tradition 40 years later. Ain’t it good to be alive and be in Tennessee?”

Tickets are $17.68 to $500 and will go on sale through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000) on Jan. 30.
