Vanderbilt gains ninth football commitment

Vanderbilt received its ninth commitment for the 2015 football recruiting class on Saturday.

Inside linebacker/running back Dare Odeyingbo became the latest to give his verbal commitment to coach Derek Mason, according to Rivals.com.

Odeyingbo, who measures at 6-foot-2 and 242 pounds, will play his final high school season at Cistercian Prep in Irving, Texas.

He chose Vanderbilt over offers from Missouri, Wisconsin, Texas Tech, and Iowa, among others.
