Bridgestone renews NFL sponsorship
Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas Inc. and the National Football League have entered a new five-year sponsorship agreement, extending the tire company's brand as "Official Tire of the NFL."
The sponsorship contract comes as the “Bridgestone Performance Moments” campaign honors top NHL performance, scheduled for the week of the Super Bowl.
“We love the game, but connecting fans and drivers who recognize performance, innovation and endurance is vital to why Bridgestone chooses to sponsor the National Football League,” Philip Dobbs, Bridgestone chief marketing officer, said in a prepared statement. “The NFL relationship provides an ideal platform for millions of women and men of all ages to engage with and learn about world-class products and services from Bridgestone.”
The sponsorship includes trademark rights, player funds and broadcast and online media, according to the companies.
