State investigators believe that Jerry Greer, the 19-year-old son of country music and TV entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen, might have collided with a fellow tuber while boating on Kentucky Lake Sunday, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Greer’s body was found Monday night after an extensive search lasting more than 24 hours.

Doug Markham, TWRA spokesperson, said the agency is still talking to witnesses but “early indications that he and a friend both fell off of the tube as the boat towing them was moving.”

“There is a chance the two collided with one another before they hit the water,” Markham added.

Markham said Greer would likely have an autopsy, and he thought that would tell the agency, family and public “more in time.”
