A 15-year-old boy received multiple injuries after he climbed on the roof of a building in downtown Lebanon and fell an estimated 30 feet trying to jump from one building roof to another.

The teenager was released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center Tuesday after being transported with multiple fractures from the fall late Friday, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

The juvenile told police he climbed a pole to get to the roof, according to the police report. The youth apparently attempted to jump from the roof of Green's Appliance on East Market Street to another. The youth was found in a courtyard area between the buildings on a concrete surface in between Green's Appliance and a Jackson Hewitt building, the report states.
