Davis House Child Advocacy Center received a key grant recently from another local organization.

A Vintage Affair, a nonprofit with a mission to help other nonprofits serving women and children in need in Williamson County, presented Davis House with a $10,000 grant as a 2016 beneficiary to aid the organization. Davis House serves children who have experienced sexual or severe physical abuse. The organization served 467 new child clients last fiscal year, a press release said.

“We are grateful for the continued support of A Vintage Affair in making us a beneficiary for 2017, as well,” said Davis House Executive Director Marcus Stamps. “Their generosity benefits the children in this community who have suffered immensely and makes a big difference in the children’s ability to heal.”

Davis House serves Williamson, Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties.
