Americana fans, rejoice: on Monday morning, singer-songwriter Jason Isbell announced that he and his band the 400 Unit will release new album "The Nashville Sound" on June 16. This will be Isbell's third album with producer Dave Cobb. His last Cobb-produced record, 2015's tour de force "Something More Than Free," topped the charts and won the Best Americana Album Grammy.

The band will also play five nights at the Ryman Auditorium this fall: Oct. 10, 11, 13,14 and 15. Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster.com on Friday at 10 a.m. Prices range from $39.50-99.50; multi-night packages will also be available.

Isbell and the 400 Unit recorded a live album, "Live from Welcome to 1979," that will be released on Record Store Day (Apr. 22). The record includes covers of songs by Bruce Springsteen, John Prine, Candi Staton, and the Rolling Stones, as well as a version of "Never Gonna Change," a song Isbell wrote and recorded with the Drive-By Truckers for their 2004 album "The Dirty South;" the song is a staple of his live shows.

Jason Isbell sings for the crowd at the All for the Hall fundraiser for the Country Music Hall of Fame at the Bridgestone Arena Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Nashville, Tenn.
