WATCH: Predators fans flip Blackhawks 'smash car' after series win

Fans jump on top of the overturned demolition car after the Predators beat the Blackhawks 4-1 to sweep the first-round NHL playoff series at the Bridgestone Arena, Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Nashville, Tenn.

To say that Predators fans are excited about their team beating their archrival would be an understatement.

Not long after the Predators wrapped up their series against the Chicago Blackhawks in four games, fans spilled out of Bridgestone Arena onto Lower Broadway and celebrated.

That celebration involved flipping a car that was sitting outside the arena.

Before every home playoff game, the Predators organization allows fans, for a donation, to swing a sledgehammer at a car spray painted in the opposing team's colors. Proceeds go to the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund.

Officers already on special assignment at the Bridgestone Arena responded to the scene, according to dispatch.
