Memorial arrangements have been announced for Norro Wilson, who died last week at the age of 79.

Wilson, a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, was involved with nearly every aspect of the music industry over the last six decades. He began his career as a performer before branching out into song plugging, songwriting and producing. He worked with artists like Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Keith Whitley, Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney and co-wrote enduring classics like "The Most Beautiful Girl" and "The Grand Tour."

Services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church (3900 West End Ave.) on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at BMI from 5-7 p.m. that evening. Attendees are encouraged to share their favorite memories and stories about Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Alive Hospice in Wilson's honor.
