Taylor Swift meets a group of fourth graders at the Taylor Swift Education Center on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

A group of fourth graders from Rutherford County's Lascassas Elementary were likely already excited to be taking a field trip to the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum - but they had no idea they were actually going to meet the pop/country superstar that day.

Swift made a surprise visit to the Center on Wednesday, taking photos with the students, answering their questions and treating them to an acoustic rendition of her hit "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

The Taylor Swift Education Center opened at the Museum in October, and was the product of a $4 million donation from Swift to the Museum - the largest single donation made by an artist in the museum's history.
