Paul Finebaum to talk to Mt. Juliet astronaut in space

Paul Finebaum plans to conduct an interview with former Mt. Juliet and Tennessee Tech football player Barry "Butch" Wilmore from the International Space Station on Thursday.

Wilmore is a NASA astronaut, who arrived at the Space Station in September along with two Russian cosmonauts and will stay until March, 2015.

Finebaum, who serves as host of his own television show on the SEC Network, became interested in interviewing Wilmore after reading in The Tennessean that Wilmore, a big Tennessee Vols fan, had requested the SEC Network be made available to him while he was in space.

Finebaum plans to talk with Wilmore, about the space mission, get his take on the SEC thus far and Saturday's UT-Alabama match-up.

The interview will air at some point during "The Paul Finebaum Show" (2-6 p.m.). It will also be posted online at http://secsports.go.com/watch.
